A feast of colour

A feast of colour

I celebrate nature with this series. The colours, the spectacles, the shows, the art that she is. It all originated with her, after all.

She is spectacular, and I don’t just say this. I spend most of my time in her embrace, at the mercy of her moods, so I love her like I love my partner, like I love my children. We are related in the sense that we’ve adopted one another, quirks and all, and when she shows me her beauty, whenever she does, whatever else was said and done, I appreciate her, and I embrace this beauty like it’s all that exists.

In this series I celebrate nature through the abstract minimalism she presents herself with very rarely, where she tells us things in the simplest of ways with the most vivid of colours.

Various in-camera techniques are used to capture the images, but processing is always, with all my work, kept to a minimum, so that the image speaks, and not the software.
