This image always takes me to a world that exists in my imagination, where upside down things are the right way around. It reminds me of Alice in Wonderland, where the confusion and extraordinary-ness of things being out of place is no reason for alarm.
The sky the colour of water, and the water the colour of sky? Such is the reality of this salt lake in Walvis Bay, Namibia, with dark clouds rolling in over the Atlantic, forced on by a strong wind.
The image is both a minimalist, abstract landscape, and a socio-political statement. I leave the interpretation up to you.
